About the policy options (Active/Leisure/Electric bike options)

1) Do I need the Active option if I take part in charity cycle events like the London to Brighton ride?
- No – you only need to select the Active option if you take part in competitive cycle events.
  
  You do not need the Active option to take part in:
  Road based time trials
  Charity rides
  Endurance events
  Cyclosportif or Audax events

2) Would I need Active cover if I take part in Cyclosportif or Audax type events (mass participation, but non-competitive, and not necessarily mass starts)?
- You only need the Active option if you take part in competitive cycle events.
  
  You do not need the Active option to take part in:
  Road based time trials
  Charity rides
  Endurance events
  Cyclosportif or Audax events
  
  If the events are in a foreign country, ensure you have chosen either our EU or worldwide cover extensions!

3) Would I need Active cover if I compete in triathlon events?
- Our Active option is designed to cover all competitive cycle sports – as triathletes compete against each other you would require the Active option. We now have a policy specifically for triathletes, called Cycleguard Triathlon which was created with the unique needs of triathletes in mind (if you compete in triathlon events you still need the Active option).
