The Triathlon World Series events cancelled by coronavirus

Triathlon events and races on the 2020 calendar that have been postponed or cancelled

The International Triathlon Union announced in March that all activity has been suspended until at least the 30th April due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The suspension includes all World & Paratriathlon ranking races, as well as Olympic & Paralympic qualifiers. The current rankings for both male and female athletes will be frozen for the time being.

Cancelled or postponed World Triathlon Series races

6^th – 7^th March  | Abu Dhabi (postponed)

18^th – 19^th April | Bermuda (postponed)

6^th – 7^th June | Leeds (postponed)

Races still scheduled on the World Triathlon Series calendar

As it stands, some races – including the Grand Final in Edmonton – are still slated to go ahead.

16^th – 17^th May | Yokohama, Japan

23^rd – 28^th June | Montreal, Canada

11^th – 12^th July | Hamburg, Germany

17^th – 23^rd August | Edmonton, Canada (Grand Final)

The 2020 AJ Bell World Triathlon in Leeds has been cancelled.

22^nd March | Sarasota-Bradenton World Cup & Paratriathlon World Cup (cancelled)

2^nd May | ITU Paratriathlon World Championships (moved from Milan to Montreal in June)

1^st – 3^rd | Chengdu Olympic Qualification, Mixed Relay (moved to Valencia)
